The Calradia 1050 A.D.: Mercenary Uprising mod aims to expand the universe of Mount & Blade and add an intriguing backstory to the continent of Calradia in a game that did little to establish its setting’s history. These mods offer enhancements like bridge battles and tavern animations, as well as added weapons, armor, and horses. The Calradia 1050 A.D.: Mercenary Uprising mod is built upon previous mods for Mount & Blade: Warband, including Diplomacy 4.2 and Freelancer 1.51. Unbeknownst to these kingdoms, there is an uprising of two groups of mercenaries eager to invade new territories. It's the year 1050, the Calradian Empire has fallen, and each of the factions fight to hold onto their land. With the Calradia 1050 A.D.: Mercenary Uprising mod, you’re given a more in-depth backstory. The history of Calradia is also vague, and the game only implies that you have the opportunity to bring about peace to the continent. While you can complete quests, there is no main objective in the sandbox gameplay style. In the original Mount & Blade game series, there is no overacting storyline.
